The main objective of this project is to enhance the ability of Serbia and its competent institutions to participate actively in addressing the global environmental threat of climate change.
More specifically, tasks include:
- To propose most appropriate model of collaboration between municipalities related to climate change adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR);
Analysis of already established or initiated river basins cooperation modalities in Serbia;
- Recommendations for the improvement of cooperation modalities including specificities of each municipality related to climate change adaptation and DRR;
- Development of three Local Action Plans on Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience, one for each of three local self-governments in Serbia selected by UNDP;
- Organize stakeholder consultations;
- Develop three Local Action Plans on Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience, one for each of self-government in Serbia which will be selected by UNDP.
