Ex-Post Evaluation of EU Support to the Global Climate Change Alliance (GCCA) through Capacity Building, Community Engagement and Applied Research in the Pacific project Phases I and II
The overall objective of the project to be evaluated was to develop and strengthen Pacific ACP countries' capacities to adapt to the impacts of climate change. The project purpose was to improve the level of understanding of climate change in the region through formal and informal training, practical on-the-ground adaptation activities at community level and applied research. The main objectives of this evaluation are to provide the relevant services of the European Union, the interested stakeholders and the wider public with:
An overall independent assessment of the past performance of the Support to the GCCA-USP Phases I and II,
Paying particular attention to its results measured against objectives,
Key lessons and recommendations in order to improve future Actions
The overall team includes 2 experts and the project is to be implemented over 5 months.
