Location: Namibia , Namibia

The global objective of this project is to enhance trade and business opportunities in Namibia that contribute to sustainable and inclusive economic development, in the framework of the ACP-EU Partnership Agreement and the EU-SADC Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA). More specifically, the project aims at:
1. Assisting the Ministry of Industrialisation, Trade & SME Development through the Namibia Trade Forum in liaison with other stakeholders – such as the ministries of Agriculture, Fisheries, the Statistic Agency and the Namibia Standard Institute, as well as other relevant Government and non-governmental Agencies and institutions – in defining an EPA Implementation Plan for Namibia. This notably covers supporting the private sector and SMEs in particular in accessing international markets;
2. Defining a trade and business agenda and an all-inclusive institutional set-up that aims at improving the ease of doing business and incentivising investments for local, regional and European companies.
