The overall objective is to improve information on gender equality in Burkina Faso and evaluate its mainstreaming in development policies in support of the Government of Burkina Faso and the European Union so that gender issues can be addressed and integrated into development programs and projects. The specific objectives are as follows:
Develop an analysis on gender equality in Burkina which presents in a concise and statistically-based manner the state of play of gender equality and women's empowerment, as well as existing gaps, both in level of institutional response than rights acquired by women.
Develop recommendations for identifying an objective and respective indicators for each of the three thematic priorities
Develop recommendations for the identification of indicators on gender equality in programs in the formulation phase
