The global objective of this assignment is to contribute to security of energy supply by reducing the thermal energy losses and by increasing the share of renewables in energy production.
The project developed the following:
a Study report on review of existing district heating network conditions including results of the hydraulic calculations;
Technical and financial feasibility study for the Termokos network rehabilitation and extension;
Report on review of WBIF study and basic design for the new district heating plant in Gjakova/Djakovica;
