Preparation of necessary documentation for upgrading the WWTP in Vranishta, extension of the collector system for Ohrid Lake and separation of the foul and storm priority water network in the Cities of Ohrid and Struga

Location: Northern Macedonia , North Macedonia

The global objective of the project was to improve municipal wastewater infrastructure in compliance with the directive 91/271/EEC through preparation of relevant documents for the investment project.
The activities of the project team:
  • Technical data and documentation from Municipalities of Ohrid, Struga and Vevchani and from IMPE Proakva, PE Niskogradba Ohrid and PE Eremija, was analysed, recommendation provided, the experts identified and proposed the highest priority measures and summarised it in a preliminary assessment report which would be the basis for the further development of the investment project.
  • Preparation of Feasibility Study for upgrading the WWTP in Vranishta, extension of the collector system for Ohrid Lake and separation of the foul and storm priority water network in the Cities of Ohrid and Struga.
  • Development of a Cost Benefit Analysis for upgrading the WWTP in Vranishta, extension of the collector system for Ohrid Lake and separation of the foul and storm priority water network in the Cities of Ohrid and Struga.
  • Development of Procurement Strategy.
  • Preparation of design documentation for upgrading the WWTP in Vranishta, extension of the collector system for Ohrid Lake and separation of the foul and storm priority water network in the Cities of Ohrid and Struga.
  • Preparation of Volume 3, Volume 4 and Volume 5 of the tender dossier for works contract for upgrading the WWTP in Vranishta, extension of the collector system for Ohrid Lake and separation of the foul and storm priority water network in the Cities of Ohrid and Struga.
