EU Knowledge Hub Digital (Part I)

The overall objective (Impact) to which this action contributes is: The fulfilment of EU global ambition of promoting a fair, inclusive, gender responsive, green and human-centric digital transformation worldwide, inspired by the principles enshrined in the EU Digital Single Market, EU values, communications, regulations and standards for data and technology. The action will carry out activities which ultimately contribute to the relevant SDG's: 3 - Health, 4 - Quality Education, 5 - Gender Equality, 8 - Decent work and Economic Growth, 9 - Industry, innovation and infrastructure, 10 - Reduced inequalities, 13 - Climate Action, 16 - Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions The specific objectives (Outcomes) of this contract are as follows: Specific objective 1: A Knowledge Hub Digital (KD), on digital for development, space and Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) is established. Specific objective 2: The role of the EU as a global actor and in international partnerships as regard to STI, space and digitalisation is strengthened through improved collaboration and policy dialogue among EU and non-EU key actors. Specific objective 3: Knowledge-management regarding the European Commission's role in the Digital for Development and STI domain is strengthened.
