Mission to develop the Identification and Formulation Action Document - Public Financial Management
The overall objective of this mission is to contribute to achieving the objectives set in the priority sector "Governance and Digital Transformation" under the NIP 2021-2027: to improve the governance framework and the functioning of the public financial management (PFM) system in Kyrgyzstan, strengthen the capacities of public institutions, and promote transparency and accountability. The specific objective of this mission is to contribute to the technical preparation of the EU in pursuing relevant objectives in the field of governance and public financial management, as well as to identify technical assistance needs. In this regard, the specific objective of the mission is to review the work carried out by national authorities, donors and international/national partners, as well as by CSOs (Civil Society Organizations) / NGOs in the field of Public Financial Management in Kyrgyzstan, and to identify and propose areas of intervention requiring EU support, which will be analyzed and presented in an Action Document for the priority sector "Governance and Digital Transformation", for an amount between 5 and 7 million euros.
