Final evaluation mission of the support programmes for local development and natural resource management (PADL-GRN) and support for local development II (PADL II)

The Local Development Support and Natural Resources Management Programme (PADL GRN) has the overall objective of "improving the living conditions and food security of rural populations" and the specific objectives of strengthening participatory dynamics of local development and natural resources management based on three intervention areas: i) strengthening central and territorial institutional capacities, ii) participatory planning and concerted land management, and iii) support for the implementation of social and economic achievements. The Local Development Support Programme integrated with Natural Resources Management (PADL II) has the overall objective of "contributing to the rehabilitation of the South and East of Chad through integrated and sustainable natural resources management" and the specific objective of improving food security, good governance and the maintenance of biodiversity through integrated and sustainable natural resources management using a local development approach. The objective of this project was to carry out the final evaluation of the Local Development Support and Natural Resources Management Programmes (PADL GRN) and the Local Development Support Programme integrated with Natural Resources Management (PADL II).
